25 June 1897 - receipt for cost of sending a telegram from Victoria to London - cost £2 13s 4d.
Has a 1d brown Naish Stamp Duty - which could also be used for postage costs.

14 September 19?? - receipt for £1/1/- paid for sending a message by Reuters.
Has a Queensland 1d Duty Stamp affixed.

31 December 1913 - receipt for cost of sending a telegram from Brisbane to London.
The receipt was issued for payment of 15s by Mr. Herbert Ashley in Brisbane.
The cable address (HANDLOHN) was Mr. Ashley's Indicator code for messages between him
and his London contact.
Two cables to Mr. Ashley in Brisbane sent over the previous months are included elsewhere.

20 December 1923 - Receipt of £1 4s from Mabel Carword for the cost of sending a telegram to Sydney.
Has a violet oval date stamp (RO-3) REUTERS/LIMITED at base.

Receipts for Money Transfers (M.O.O.).

27 October 1903 - Receipt of £20 3s from S. Gardley-Wilmot Esq for transferring £20 from Launceston
to The Secretary of the Navy League in London. Hence the transfer cost was 3s.
Has a 2d brown Platypus Stamp Duty affixed overprinted REVENUE.

11 May 1911 - Receipt of £300 6s from Johnstone and Wilmot Ltd (the important trading firm in Launceston
whose records back to 1860 have been important to tell the Telegrams in Australia story) for transferring £300
from Launceston to Melbourne.
Has a 4d blue Stamp Duty affixed.
